I dreamt of the cliffs along the sea, the scraggly crags of now cold molten debris.
I saw there the waves that crashed around me, the loud noise drowning my wondering need.
A mist in the air seemed to cling to my wings, holding me down to the seashore it seemed.
A light pierced the dullness, but strange it appeared that it came not from the outer but inner so clear.
With sudden courage I found in myself, a shudder, a bolt for the sky I knew I once dwelt.
Now I fly with renewed spirit and freedom of wing, and know should I return here I'll not be the same as I've been. ~V. Ellis

Believe in yourself. Be content. Be you.

It is true only if you believe it to be.  If you don't like it, then change what you are believing about it. It is simply a choice.

You always have a choice as to what you believe and own about yourself.  It really matters not what anyone else thinks or believes.  They don't and cannot live in your shoes, even if they are the same size.

Everyone sees the world through their own eyes.  The thoughts and beliefs of others are based on what they believe is true about themselves. If they are discontent then they simply believe that everyone else must be discontent.  If they are sad, shouldn't you be sad also?  I think not.

Follow your own truth.  If you don't like the way you feel about something, only you have the power to change what you believe about it.  If you are content in who you are then celebrate!  Carry on!  If not, you can simply make a choice.  You have the power to change your beliefs about yourself. As powerful as the words "I decide", stating "I choose" can be just as freeing.

Believe in yourself.   Be content.  Be you.

Namaste,

V
